Are you an English teacher working in Ticino? Would you like to invest in your own professional development, but find it difficult to identify and attend suitable courses? If your answer is yes, then TESL workshops for English teachers are the solution that you’re looking for. As part of its commitment to English teaching in Canton Ticino, TESL is organizing cost-effective and convenient monthly teacher workshops for English teachers from January 2020. The workshops are aimed at teachers who have completed their pre-service training (e.g. CELTA) and/or have a minimum of 12 months previous teaching experience. In addition, the workshops are particularly useful for teachers who are considering embarking on further training in the near future (e.g. DELTA or a Master’s) and who wish to have an introduction to many of the concepts included in such courses. Finally, the workshops are also intended for teachers who have already gained such qualifications and wish to maintain and further develop their knowledge and skills.

 

Places on the workshops are extremely limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis so teachers who are interested are advised to enrol early to avoid disappointment. Information about forthcoming workshops will be posted on this page in advance.
