Bad Schussenried is a historically significant monastery town of 8,500 inhabitants in an idyllic location on the gentle hills between the rivers Danube and Iller, and Lake Constance. The school is located in a complex of modern buildings amidst a lush park and a large leisure area.

The centre of Bad Schussenried can be reached on foot in just five minutes.

Bad Schussenried can be reached easily and safely from Zurich and Munich airports, thanks to the Humboldt transfer service.

The school is a boarding school and therefore combines classrooms, leisure facilities and student rooms in one location. It can accommodate up to 300 students from all over the world and is the largest boarding school for the study of German as a foreign language. The school is open all year round and has an enviable infrastructure: pupils have the opportunity to enjoy countless sports and recreational activities, inside and outside the facility.
